Venue and location

Bern offers the perfect setting for an inspiring and sustainable meeting experience:As Switzerland’s capital and a UNESCO World Heritage city, Bern combines historic charm with excellent infrastructure, making it both attractive and easy to reach. One of Bern’s key advantages is its excellent rail connectivity. The city is easily accessible by train from major European cities, making it a convenient and environmentally friendly alternative to flying. All participants staying in official partner hotels will receive the Bern Ticket (Bern Card), which allows free and unlimited use of public transportation throughout the city during their stay. This makes moving around Bern simple, cost-free, and sustainable. The meeting venue (Haus des Sports, Talgut - Zentrum 27 , Ittigen) is ideally located: From Bern-RBS station, take the S7 (Worb Dorf) to “Papiermühle” station or “Ittigen”. Journey time from Bern station: 7 minutes.  It takes approximately also 7 minutes by public transport (Bus 40) to reach hotels such as the Ibis and Novotel at Guisanplatz. Thanks to Bern’s compact size, most hotels, cultural attractions, restaurants, and the venue are within walking or public transport distance. Participants can enjoy the city’s vibrant old town, scenic river views, and high-quality gastronomy — all without the need for a car.
